September 29th - 2nd October

We started the week by learning the sound ‘e’ and read a story about a wonderful Elephant called Elmer. We were all excited about the patchwork elephant and engaged in an excellent colouring experience.

In numeracy we made a graph to show the classes favourite animals. As you can see we love rabbits and cats but are not so keen on birds in 1T.

Our tuff tray this week is filled with a resource called numicon. We have been building some numicon city buildings to explore the size and shape of each piece.

Liam received a green wow certificate this week for being extremely kind and helpful to his classmates. Here he is with his hot chocolate treat from Mrs Thomas. Well done Liam!

Working together to make collage rainbows as part of our letter “r” work

Who knew a cardboard box could be so fun. We turned it into a car and a aeroplane and had lots of fun decorating it together.
